DO YOU WANT TO BECOME AN ELITE LEADER?

What we frequently see today

is a tendency for a company to either not have philosophy on managing and leading… or leave it to leadership team members to develop their own. In either case it often leads to highly inconsistent and uneven performance management that usually negatively impacts morale, retention and even financial results.

Ask yourself

  1. Have we developed our way of leading and managing?

  2. Have we trained on it?

  3. Is it ingrained in our everyday business?

Your competitors are not standing still! Companies that consistently outperform, spend time and resources training and developing their team to higher levels of performance.

Deft Maneuvering

Deft Leadership
Deft Leadership is about knowing when to teach , coach, advise, facilitate, bring your experience to bear and when to tell them what to do. Managers tend to use one style in communicating and providing feedback, either they are highly directive or attempt to get the employee to come up with their own thinking through a series of questions. We believe this is a very limiting approach as the highest level of leader, the DEFT LEADER, realizes that each conversation could require a different approach in order to be effective.

Deft Decisions
Deft Maneuvering will also help improve your decision-making abilities. We often see knee jerk decisions and chasing shiny objects syndrome from Business Owner/CEO’s. For this to work the Business Owner would need to have top tier intuition. More often than not however, this type of approach leads to poor decisions and half baked opportunities that ultimately fail.

Deft Decisions and Opportunities at its core is about being proactive and seeing the landscape unfold 3 or 4 steps ahead of challenges, decisions and opportunities, thinking of what could happen, how you could influence, developing several winning scenarios and then choosing the best option.

Deft Selling
Is about understanding the buying influences and instinctively knowing which button to push when the prospects “go dark”. The martial arts part of Deft Selling is to think of these situations in advance so as to react with speed when the scenario occurs… When a situation that has not been pre-planned occurs… the Deft Seller’s instincts quickly identify several scenarios that could be stalling the sale…. and quickly adapts to get back on track.

The Deft Seller can also see several steps ahead of the game in identifying other key stakeholder’s that may have significant influence over the decision maker and should therefore be brought into the sales process…and also thinking of what value can be added at each stage of the process to earn a continuation and ultimately a sale
